KALLE SAUERLAND has hit back at the F1 grid girl ban – by hiring SIX ring girls for Chris Eubank Jr vs George Groves.
After darts ditched walk-on girls and Formula One followed suit, it was suspected that boxing may be next on the list.
But Sauerland – who announced the news on Valentines Day – is supported by fellow promoter Eddie Hearn, who has talked about wanting to ‘keep traditions of the sport going’.
Ahead of the huge World Boxing Super Series bout, here are the girls who will be strutting their stuff in the ring.
Sara Beverley Jones
FORMERLY a ring-card girl for Anthony Joshua, Sara has been vocal in defending her right to the position – and says she has never felt objectified in the five years she’s worked in the industry.
She told ITV show This Morning: “[Women] have come out with derogatory comments. They are insulting our intelligence based on our occupation. They are calling us prostitutes online. It’s very upsetting and insulting.”

Charlotte Wood
GIVEN the boot by the darts world, stunning blonde Charlotte has made the switch to boxing.
She took to Twitter and said: “Super excited to announce I’ll be one of the ring girls this Weekend!”, before retweeting an image showing a whiteboard that read ‘bring back the walk-on girls’.
