THERE will not be a full field in the Grand National this year after two horses were ruled out of the race on Saturday morning.
Regal Encore and Walk In The Mill will both miss the Aintree contest, meaning 38 horses will go to post.
It is bad luck for backers of Vintage Clouds who was the last reserve waiting to get a run in the race, but the deadline for reserves was yesterday at 1pm.
Regal Encore was ruled out after a blood analysis was found to have been abnormal.
