GHANAIAN striker Mohammed Sumaila has cooked up the world’s strangest transfer — by joining his new club for ten litres of OLIVE OIL.
The 25-year-old has played lower-league football in Turkey since 2012. He signed a deal to play for Kutahya in the upcoming season.

However Sumaila has opted to join up with an ex-clubmate at Yorukalispor in the meantime – for a local tournament that lasts a month.
The village side was too cash-strapped to afford him, but he signed up after local olive growers offered to pay him in oil.
The striker said: “I am 25, and I have been playing for amateur teams in Turkey for about five years.
“I was transferred to Kutahya for next season, but I joined Yorukalispor to play in a tournament which is organised for one month in Mudanya.
“I joined them on the invitation of my former clubmate, Tayfun Albayrak. I will not be paid for playing.
“But the villagers said they would instead give me some of the organic olive oil they produced, and I accepted the offer gladly.

"This is the first village team I have played for. But my dream is to play for a top-flight club in Turkey."
Meanwhile ex-Premier League striker Carlton Cole is being sacked by Indonesian club Persib for failing to score a goal since joining in March.
The former West Ham man penned a one-year deal in March but has been blasted by the manager for playing "very badly."
In May, manager Umah Muchtar also claimed playing with Cole was like playing with ten men.
