Ghana are looking to go one better after reaching the final two years ago and losing to Ivory Coast.

They came through a group with Egypt, Uganda and Mali before beating DR Congo in the quarter-final.

But Cameroon stand in their way and have shown steely resolve throughout the tournament.

In the last match of the group stage they claimed the 0-0 draw needed to knock hosts Gabon out and send one of the tournament’s star players, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, back to Dortmund early.

Then in the quarter-final they claimed another of the tournament's biggest scalps when they knocked out Senegal, with Liverpool's Sadio Mane missing the only penalty following a 0-0 draw.

The final will be played at 7pm on Sunday with Egypt awaiting tonight's victors after 44-year-old goalkeeper Essam el-Hadary helped them to a shootout win over Burkina Faso last night.
