FLOYD MAYWEATHER’S protégé Gervonta Davis wants to fight Tevin Farmer on his mentor’s undercard on the Conor McGregor fight – and will punt £80,000 on himself to win.
British UFC star Jimi Manuwa has called out heavyweight boxer David Haye for the cross-sport spectacle and now IBF super-featherweight boss Davis is in on the act.
Davis wowed British fans with a third-round stoppage win against English warrior Liam Walsh in London in May.
And he wants a slot on the biggest showdown in sport as boxing and MMA mix for a night of punch-trading and money-making.
Davis called Farmer out on his Instagram account and even lined up his next victim by suggesting the winner take on IBF’S No3 ranked man Billy Dib.
Davis put on a phenomenal show at the Copperbox against previously unbeaten Walsh.
Even with the Money Man doing his best to outshine his young prodigy, Davis stole the show with a Michael Jackson-inspired entrance and a Jack Johnson-style finish.

The southpaw controlled the fight in the first two rounds before walking out for the third, dropping his hands and taunting the home fighter in front of his fans.
The American then unleashed a flurry of razor-sharp punches that dropped Walsh and forced the referee to jump in.
Farmer should not pose the emerging star too many problems having already lost four of his 30 fights and earned only five of his 25 wins via KO.
