EVERTON may be hosting Liverpool in the Merseyside derby, but it is Gareth Southgate who has sent social media into meltdown.
With the 47-year-old sporting a flat cap, fans were quick to point out that the England boss bares a striking resemblance to Peaky Blinders character Tommy Shelby.

Southgate was in attendance at Goodison Park to watch the likes of Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Jordan Henderson and the Nathaniel Clyne in action.
But little did he know he would steal the show in today’s early kick-off with supporters revelling in his choice of clothing.
One user wrote on social media: “When did Gareth Southgate join the Peaky Blinders?”
Another fan said: “Gareth Southgate shooting off early to attend a Peaky Blinders fancy dress party.”

With another simply stated: “Gareth Southgate’s in the Goodison stand doing his Tommy Shelby impersonation.”
And one person was left unimpressed by his new look, as he said: “I see Gareth Souhgate is watching the match dressed an extra from Peaky Blinders. I’m no fashion don, but it’s not a great look tbh.”

The former Middlesbrough ace would have been delighted with the performance of goalkeeper Pickford, who expertly denied Dominic Solanke and Andy Robertson in the first half.
While he will also be buoyed by the return of right-back Clyne, who started his first Premier League of the season.
