GABRIEL JESUS is heading back to Barcelona for treatment on his knee injury.
It comes amid reports from Spain that there are fears he may actually have ruptured a cruciate ligament.

City insist the appointment is scheduled and say there is nothing new to report about the forward’s progress.
However, if the injury is worse than first feared, it could have a big impact on how much City are willing to pay for Alexis Sanchez this month.
The prospect of playing the rest of the season with just Sergio Aguero as a recognised striker is unlikely to appeal to Pep Guardiola.
Jesus was in Barcelona last week where he was expected to see Guardiola’s preferred doctor Ramon Cugat, who is a knee specialist.

Cugat has treated several City players in Guardiola’s time at the Etihad.
Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Vincent Kompany are three of his patients, with Benjamin Mendy treated for his knee injury this season.
Jesus was at the Quironsalud hospital last year when broke a metatarsal and needed two months out.
