GABRIEL JESUS did NOT suffer serious injury after being forced to leave the pitch on a stretcher during Brazil’s 1-0 friendly defeat to Argentina.
The 20-year-old had earlier missed an open goal before he was caught on the head by Argentine defender and club team-mate Nicolas Otemendi.

Jesus was hit by a flailing elbow from Otamendi that left him needing lengthy medical treatment. He was then placed on the stretcher and carried from the field.
But after undergoing tests at a hospital in Melbourne, it was revealed the striker did not suffer any serious injury.
Speaking to Australian Associated press, Brazil’s team co-ordinator and former Arsenal midfielder Edu said: “Jesus is fine. I spoke to the doctor, he said he is OK.
“He already did the exam to see if it [his jaw] is broken or not but nothing has happened.”
