A message reading ‘Wenger Out: No New Contract’ was to be flown over the Hawthorns in Saturday’s early kick-off.
It was three years ago that Manchester United fans hired a plane to carry a ‘Wrong One – Moyes Out’ message over Old Trafford.
There will be no such aeriel display this weekend but fuming fans are still expected to hold signs in protest over the Frenchman’s reign.
Instead, they will target Manchester City’s visit to the Emirates on April 2 for the chance to bring in the plane.

And the same group of supporters will aim to charter a plane again for the trip to Stoke’s Bet365 stadium in May, according to the Evening Standard.
And the attacks on the man who has led them to three Premier League titles have got more and more personal.

On top of all fans are looking to crowdsource money to convince the Arsenal board to withdraw Wenger's offer of a two-year contract extension.
