CHRISTIAN BENTEKE took the brunt of frustration from Crystal Palace fans after leaving his shooting boots at home.
The £30million Belgian striker missed a couple of golden opportunities to put his side on the scoresheet.
He was put through on goal with just the keeper to beat early on just his shot struck the chest of Ken Darlow.
But he missed another glaring chance to pull his side level when he couldn’t react in time to turn the ball home from close range.
The ball came off the hand of Darlow and tonto Benteke’s knee before trickling harmlessly wide.
And fans took to Twitter in their droves to share their opinions on Benteke who has scored just two goals all season.
