SEVEN HEAVENS provided the legendary Frankel with his sixth winner as a stallion with a taking debut performance at Ascot.
Also a son of talented racemare Heaven Sent, the handsome Cheveley Park-bred colt was snapped up for 620,000 guineas as a yearling by Frankel’s owner Khalid Abdullah.

Having travelled powerfully throughout in the hands of Robert Havlin, the youngster hit the front inside the final two furlongs and kept up the gallop to hold off the strong-finishing Lockheed by a length.
Trainer John Gosden said: “He has been a very nice horse to train at home.
“He has a very positive attitude and is a horse that enjoys his work.
“I thought he did well as he was in front on his own down the middle of the track for two furlongs, and at Ascot that can be quite lonely for a two-year-old.
“He has a positive attitude on life and he likes to get on with things. He is a strong-willed horse and is like his father in that way. I think he (Frankel) will probably pass that on to his offspring.
“We will find a novice race for him and go the sensible route up the ladder.”
