Francesco Totti names Antonio Cassano as the best player he has played alongside for Roma
FRANESCO TOTTI may have pulled on the Roma jersey over 600 times – but he reckons Antonio Cassano is the greatest player he has ever played with.
The 40-year-old has been continuing his love affair the Giallorossi, who he has starred for since he was a tender 16-year-old.

Rome legend Totti has incredibly been netting this season – with two goals – and providing assists for the side who sit third in Serie A.
But he reckons prodigious talent Cassano – who played for Roma between 2001 and 2006 – is the best he has ever played with, because of their telepathic ability to find passes with each other on the pitch.
Totti said: “Technically Cassano – becasuse we conversed with each other on the field and could find each other at any moment.
“I had a great rapport with him off the pitch too, we were in total sync.

"We are talking about not just one of the best players in Italy, but in Europe, because in terms of talent alone he is a phenomenon.
"Then there's Gabriel Batistuta, Vincenzo Montella, those players who made football history.
"They should be remembered because it was a pleasure to watch them and I was fortunate enough to play alongside them too."
Cassano started his career at Bari, where he became famous all over Europe for showing off his incredible skills and tricks.
A move to Roma, where he spent five years with Totti, was followed by Real Madrid.
But his time at the Bernabeu did not work out - and he ended up becoming a Serie A journeyman, with stints at Sampdoria, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Parma and now back at Sampdoria.
