France stars Dimitri Payet and Kingsley Coman arrive at Clairfontaine wearing bizarre gear in the middle of Paris Fashion week ahead of France’s World Cup qualifiers

FRANCE stars Dimitri Payet and Kingsley Coman seemed to be engaging in a catwalk battle of their own in the middle of Paris Fashion Week as they arrived at Clairefontaine.

Les Bleus have two World Cup qualifiers against Bulgaria and Holland as they bid to get back on track after a scoreless draw against Belarus in their last match.

Coman wore a three-quarter-length coat and trainers while West Ham star Payet donned joggers and a hoodie that was simply not easy on the eye.

Which is a bit like his past few performances for the Hammers as they failed again to pick up three points at the London Stadium in a 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough.

In fairness to Payet, he did score a superb equaliser against Boro, but he – like his West Ham team-mates – has undoubtedly been under-par so far this term.

And Manchester United ace Paul Pogba might have hit the bar in the last few minutes of their 1-1 tie with Stoke at Old Trafford yesterday.

But he probably won't be hitting any bars in the comfy joggers and sweater top he was sporting on the south-west suburb of Paris.

Also arriving from the Premier League's top clubs included Hugo Lloris in a cool leather jacket, along with outstanding French performer of the summer Laurent Koscielny.

Moussa Sissoko was also fresh down in Paris following Spurs' 2-0 win over Man City at White Hart Lane.

But he opted for a sensible gilet as the first signs of Autumn crept in.
