Swiss third division outfit Yverdon Sport have been looking to strengthen their squad following last season’s promotion.
And now they can count on the firepower of ex-France international Cisse following his arrival on a one-year contract.
Tweeting in French, he said: “Thank you for your messages of support that makes me happy and makes me want to have a great season with @yverdonsport.”
His new side’s ground only boasts a capacity of 7,600 with only 1,000 seats.
They dominated the Swiss 1. Liga Group 1 last campaign, romping to top spot, 11 clear of their nearest rivals.
