Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury steps up boxing training as he eyes return this year

TYSON FURY is getting ready for his first fight in almost three years after being cleared by UK Anti-Doping.

Fury had been forced to vacate his WBA, WBO and IBO titles after being investigated for medical purposes.

He can be seen going hard in training with Ben Davison in a video posted to his coach’s Instagram feed.

The last time he fought was when winning them titles against boxing royalty Wladimir Klitschko back in 2015 via a points victory.

The 29-year-old then had to be cleared by UKAD and apply for his boxing license to be renewed.

On December 12, 2017, UKAD stated his suspension would end at midnight that day, with the British Boxing Board of Control also allowing Fury to return. Fury tweeted after the news: “Guess who’s back?”

Since his return, Fury has been working hard in the gym, challenging current IBF and WBA heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua to an all-star match-up.

He said on Twitter: “I’m that good I don’t need any warmups I can come off the couch and beat up on [AJ] don’t run your big ass in the bush, let’s fight this summer!!!”

Fury has a stellar boxing record, having never incurred a professional loss, winning 24, with 17 via knockout.

His unorthodox style throws a lot of opponents off of their usual game, proving too much for Klitschko and maybe for Joshua too.
