Bendtner has just linked with Norwegian outfit Rosenborg following a short spell at Championship outfit Nottingham Forest.

The Dane celebrated his first two starts with two goals and was unsurprisingly the main target for post-match questions after the 3-0 win against Sandefjord.

According to reports, one journalist asked: “Is it nice being Nicklas Bendtner in Norway?”

And in one epic reply, Bendtnder said: “It’s nice being Nicklas Bendtner anywhere.”

The 29-year-old will always be best remembered for his time with Arsenal.

But the striker did go on to win Serie A with Juventus – as well as the DFB Pokal and DFL Supercup with Wolfsburg.

But he will now be hoping to get back on his feet in a setting with less pressure, although Rosenborg are the current Norwegian champions and will be expecting nothing less than a successful defence of their title.
