IF YOU were guessing which club took the most away fans to games at the weekend, you’d cast your eyes straight towards the Premier League.
Title favourites Manchester City were away at Swansea, so they were bound to fill out their allocation right?

But you’d need to cast your eye down a bit further down the football pyramid.
For it is League One outfit Bradford City that took the most visiting supporters when a whopping 4,388 of them attended the clash against Bolton at the Macron Stadium.
Sadly they weren’t treated to a thriller, at least in terms of the scoreline, as the game finished 0-0.
Who took the most away fans?
1 – Bradford City (at Bolton) 4,388
2 – Leicester City (at Man United) 3,125
3 – Spurs (at Middlesbrough) 3,011
4 – Chelsea (at Arsenal) 3,000
5- Newcastle (at Aston Villa) 2,869
6 – Bristol City (at Fulham) 2,675
7 – Wigan (at Preston) 2,500
8 – Nottingham Forest (at Sheff Wed) 2,200
9 – Man City (at Swansea) 2,082
10 – Sheffield United (at Scunthorpe) 2,000
While admittedly certain Premier League clubs were limited on the amount of fans they were allowed to take, be it on police advice or regulations, the West Yorkshire club topping the pile is pretty incredible.
Leicester took the second highest number of fans at the weekend, 3,125 watching their team get thrashed 4-1 at Old Trafford.
And Spurs completed the top three when 3,011 watched their 2-1 away win at Middlesbrough.
