FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR had over £120,000 worth of belongings stolen when his house was robbed this weekend, according to reports.
TMZ Sports claim the boxer’s Las Vegas home was burgled while he was in Los Angeles to celebrate his 40th birthday.
The report says that someone forced a door open to break in before stealing several belongings, including one of his expensive watches.
Mayweather was seen in Los Angeles over the weekend to celebrate his 40th birthday, where he was joined by celebrity friends Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey.
He also sat courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game on Sunday against the San Antonio Spurs.
Apparently, even Mayweather’s birthday cake cost a lot of money.
TMZ also reported that his birthday cake was covered in crystals, cost $3,000 (£2,400) and took 72 hours to make.
He may be set to appear in the most lucrative boxing match of all time, but Mayweather didn’t let the prospect of facing MMA star Conor McGregor hamper his 40th birthday celebrations.
The former world champ stepped out at the exclusive Roku Sunset restaurant in Hollywood’s famous Sunset Boulevard to celebrate the big occasion on Saturday.
And Mayweather was joined by his girlfriend Bad Medina as well as two other ladies and his entourage.
Revealing his excitement, Mayweather said: “Being surrounded by my family and friends for my birthday weekend reminds me to never take anything for granted in life.
“I am grateful for everything I’ve accomplished and received in my lifetime.
“I have a beautiful family, four great children and many friends that have been there since day one.
“Life is short and I try to make every minute count. This is exactly how I want to celebrate my 40th birthday.
“I use each year as an opportunity to grow and with this big milestone, I’m even more grateful for everyone who showed me the way and made me the man I am today.”
