Fleetwood Town in fight to keep Uwe Rosler who is set to be offered Norway job

UWE ROSLER is in line to be the next manager of Norway.

According to Dagbladet, the Norwegian FA are preparing an official approach for the Fleetwood Town boss, who only took charge of the Lancashire side last July.

Fleetwood are in the League One promotion mix and could be in the second tier of English football for the first time in their history next season.

However, Rosler could be handed the opportunity to succeed Per-Mathias Hogmo who resigned after a poor start to the Scandinavians World Cup qualifying campaign.

A possible return to work in Norway will have an emotional appeal for the 48-year-old German who finished his playing career in the country.
