FIFA 18: Crowd celebrations improved dramatically as fans rush to the barriers after goals as atmosphere and lighting enhanced

FIFA 18 is much more atmospheric and immersive with EA Sports having ramped up the crowd.

To add to the gaming experience, in the new release of the popular franchise you will be able to celebrate with fans as your players get mobbed for netting goals.

Not only can you interact with supporters when you celebrate in the game, but when you net in FIFA 18 the crowd will surge forward to the barriers to try and get close to the players.

This is an improvement from FIFA 17 – where players could celebrate on the advertising hoardings in front of the crowd.

There is more variety and individuality in supporters and they have made an effort to remove the situation where the same programmed supporters are sat next to each other.

This adds to the level of atmosphere and enthusiasm into the game, which previous versions of FIFA are yet to provide.

They have also cherry picked certain stadiums around the world with unique atmospheres.

Boca Juniors’ stadium, La Bombonera, on the game sees banners in the stands, confetti on the field and also pitchside advertising.

Another change which makes the game more atmospheric is the updated lighting, which will change depending on which part of the world you are playing in.

For example, they have added in a unique sunshine to games being played in South America.
