The former Liverpool and Chelsea striker is out of contract in Madrid this summer after his third spell at the Vicente Calderon.
Torres left the Blues in January 2015 to join AC Milan on loan, with the Serie A giants signing him permanently the following campaign.
Atletico came in for him in 2016 where he resigned for the La Liga club following a season-long loan.
