The end of the football season has hit us square in the face like an intercontinental train.
Even more worrying is the conclusion of the fantasy football campaign for at least a few months.
Here we continue our review of the best 2016/17 Dream Team performers with a look at the top five point-scoring forwards.
Dream Team 2017/18
How does the game work?
- This year’s fantasy football game will absolutely FREE for all players to play
- The total prize pot is an approximated £750,000
- Game Weeks will run from Friday to Thursday
- £50m budget on 11 eligible players
1 Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal) – 348 points

Only three players racked up over 300 points this season, with the Gunners’ Chilean hitman top of the lot by some distance.
He’s also the only one of the Premier League’s top scorers to have provided ten assists for his team-mates.
Clinical and selfless; what a combination.
His omission from the PFA Team of the Season looks increasingly harsh.
2 Sergio Aguero (Man City) – 307 points

Just the 31 goals in all competitions for Man City’s No10 this season.
Eight goals in as many Champions League games led to a spike in popularity and despite his customary injury troubles (as well as hot competition from Gabriel Jesus) he has once again proven himself to be one of Europe’s best finishers.
Surely Dream Team’s most consistent performer in recent years?
3 Harry Kane (Spurs) – 305 points

Remember when people thought he was a one-season wonder?
Kane's third consecutive season of 20+ goals in the Premier League has once again made him one of Dream Team's must-have players when fit.
What's more, the towering England striker made it consecutive Premier League Golden Boot gongs after a late surge of eight goals in his final three matches
Not bad at all.
4 Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Man United) - 290 points

The enigmatic Swede looked set to lead the Dream Team charts until he suffered a horrific knee injury in the Europa League in April.
Zlatan bolstered his tally by running riot in the cup competitions as well as netting a very respectable 17 goals in the league.
Those who gambled on his inclusion from the start of the season were handsomely rewarded, but will he still be at United next season?
5 Romelu Lukaku (Everton) - 247 points

With 25 goals to his name in the Premier League this season, the Everton forward continues to show Chelsea what they're missing.
Early exits in both domestic cups and no European football meant he didn't have as many games in which to keep up with the likes of Sanchez and Ibrahimovic.
The Toffees will be lucky to keep hold of him in the summer, but the more pressing issue is will you select him for your Dream Team next season?
