If Lewis Hamilton ends up winning in Brazil, then Rosberg will have to wait until the next and final race in Abu Dhabi.

Here is the breakdown how Rosberg can be crowned champion today:

If the Englishman comes second, Rosberg needs to finish first to be crowned as champion.

If Hamilton comes third, Rosberg will need to win.

If last year’s winner finishes fourth, Rosberg will need to finish second.

Rosberg will secure the championship if he finishes third, and Hamilton finishes seventh.

Rosberg will only need to finish fourth if Hamilton comes in eighth spot.

If Hamilton comes in ninth or tenth place, Rosberg just needs to finish fifth or sixth.

Hamilton goes into the Grand Prix in pole position, having beat his rival by just 0.102 seconds in qualifying.
