But now the 24-goal Norway striker has secured a leading role as the next Bond or Jason Borne-style spy assassin.
The film is due to have an £18.5million budget – and the 36-year-old will play the leading character Felix Frost.
According to Carew the character is a mix of Borne and Bond but with “just a little more charm” and filming is due to take place in Norway, the United States, Russia and China.
Most of the film will be set in northern Norway though – and Carew even had a hand in writing the screenplay.

The film was NOT reviewed particularly well though, IMDb gave it a rating of only 3.9 out of 10.
