According to Calciomercato, the deal will be worth £2.3million-a-year but bonuses and other details are yet to be ironed out.
It will come as a relief to the long-time Toffees target, who after a fine start to the season had dropped behind in the pecking order behind Radja Nainggolan.

And may fans were left wondering if Nainggolan left for the Premier League, who in the team would be able to replace him.
