EVERTON are on the trail of Manchester Utd flop Memphis Depay, if the clubs twitter feed is anything to go by.
Toffees boss Ronald Koeman has already admitted “he would like to have” Depay at Goodison Park recently and the clubs official twitter account posted an update on Depay’s game for the Dutch against Luxembourg on Sunday.

The tweet read ‘Half time in Guinea and the hosts lead @YannickBolasie’s DR Congo 1-0. Elsewhere, Memphis Depay has put @OnsOranje ahead v Luxembourg.

Clubs will usually provide updates on their players while away representing their countries, but updates and mentions of players from other clubs is rare at best and could be a signal of a potential move for the out of favour Dutchman.

The 22-year-old winger has fallen down the pecking order after an encouraging start to life at Old Trafford.
Depay moved to United from PSV Eindhoven for £25million at the start of last season and has struggled to live up to his own hype.
Cocky Memphis demanded the much coveted United No7 on his arrival after leading PSV to the Eredivisie title in 2015.

Koeman has publicly declared his admiration for his fellow countryman and feels he should be getting more game time at United.
'I would like to have him,' Koeman told FOX Sports Netherlands programme De tafel van Kees.
'I think he is an interesting player. He has great individual qualities. He just needs to play games.'

Despite his lack of game time at Old Trafford, Depay remains a regular for Holland and scored twice for the Oranje in a 3-1 victory over Luxembourg on Sunday.

The winger's fall from grace has been dramatic, with Mourinho giving Depay less than 30 minutes of Premier League football this season.
Despite his lack of game time, the national team boss Danny Blind was rewarded for his faith in him with his brace on Sunday.
