EVERTON are interested in signing Swansea star Gylfi Sigurdsson after missing out on him last summer.
Ronald Koeman made a bold attempt to take the 27-year-old Iceland international to Goodison Park following his appointment ten months ago.

Swansea refused to part ways at the time, but Sigurdsson is likely to be on the move this time around following the club’s relegation struggles and managerial woes.
The former Tottenham star could be available for £25million and is also wanted by Newcastle, with SunSport exclusively revealing Rafa Benitez’s interest late last month.
However, Sigurdsson’s potential arrival on Merseyside could trigger Ross Barkley’s exit, with the playmaker yet to sign a new Everton deal.

Koeman admits he will consider selling Barkley at the end of the season after the 23-year-old was embroiled in a night club controversy following Sunday’s 4-2 win over champions Leicester.
Barkley was punched in the face during an unprovoked attack caught on CCTV but is yet to press charges.

Sigurdsson has also shown he can play as a striker, which is sure to come in handy following the uncertainty around Romelu Lukaku’s future.
The Belgian rejected a new contract offer in March and looks increasingly likely to rejoin Chelsea as a replacement for Diego Costa.
