GYLFI SIGURDSSON could endure up to eight weeks on the sidelines with a serious knee injury.
The Everton ace will face a race against time ahead of Iceland’s first ever trip to the World Cup.

The 28-year-old reported an injury after Everton’s 2-0 victory against Brighton on Saturday.
Sigurdsson, who has scored five goals this season, went straight to see a specialist on Monday morning.
Blues boss Sam Allardyce said: “We’ll continue to assess Gylfi’s progress on a week-to-week basis.
“The medical team will work very closely with him, as they would with any injured player, to get him back playing as quickly as possible.”

His brother, Olafur Mar Sigurdsson, allegedly told Icelandic media that the player had damaged the joint of his right knee.
The news will come as a huge blow for Everton, who have just eight top flight games left this term.
