EVERTON are preparing to offer star striker Romelu Lukaku a huge new contract to try and keep him at Goodison Park.
The Belgian goalscorer has told the Toffees he wants to leave and is a target for Juventus and Chelsea.
Lukaku had the chance to net against Italy but lifted the ball over the bar
But new owner Farhad Moshiri is keen to launch a last-gasp bid to cling onto him and is willing to break the bank, according to reports.
The Daily Mail report he is prepared to offer over £100,000 to Lukaku, who is currently at Euro 2016 with Belgium.
If that bid fails, his transfer fee will be added to Ronald Koeman’s bumper war chest as the Toffees try and establish themselves as on of the league’s big guns.
