EVERTON have been left frustrated again in their attempts to land Werder Bremen star Thomas Delaney after having an improved £8million bid rejected.
The Toffees’ hopes of signing the Danish international have been dented as Delaney made his Bundesliga debut last weekend.

The talented midfielder featured in Bremen’s defeat at home to Borussia Dortmund to kill off any hopes of switch to Goodison Park this month, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Players can only play for a maximum of two clubs in a single campaign with the Toffees missing their chance to land the 25-year-old in the summer.
Everton failed to act on their initial interest in Delaney while he was starring for FC Copenhagen, allowing Bremen to step in and tie up a £1.5m deal.

The deal allowed the midfielder to stay in Denmark until this month, but Koeman pushed for a deal to be concluded before Delaney made is Bundesliga bow last weekend.
Everton lodged an initial £5.5m bid, which was knocked back, before returning with an £8m offer but relegation threatened Bremen refused to do business.
