Euro 2016: Spanish Uefa vice-president falls asleep next to Prince William during England’s goalless draw with Slovakia

ENGLAND’s 0-0 draw with Slovakia at Euro 2016 was officially a snoozefest.

That is because Angel Maria Villar – president of the Spanish FA and vice president of UEFA – nodded off next to Prince William as the Three Lions toiled in Saint-Etienne.

The 66-year-old former Athletic Bilbao midfielder was struggling to stay awake next to the Prince when cameras appeared to catch him nodding off.

Villar is used to watching Vicente Del Bosque's Spain team dominate possession as England did.

But the former World Champions usually end up with the goals that have led to them being crowned back-to-back European champions.

However, the chances were few and far between for the Three Lions.

Adam Lallana, Jamie Vardy, Daniel Sturridge and Dele Alli all came close but ultimately found the Slovakian defence hard to breach.

It meant Roy Hodgson's team finished second in Group B behind winner Wales.

They will now face the runner-up in Group F with Portugal, Hungary, Iceland and Austria all lying in wait.

Spain face Croatia in a crunch clash this evening to determine who tops Group D.
