Euro 2016: Roy Hodgson slams Welsh star Gareth Bale after he calls England side ‘arrogant’ ahead of showdown in Lens
ROY HODGSON has accused Gareth Bale of being disrespectful.
The Wales superstar claimed England were arrogant and that his nation was more patriotic.
Hodgson is not happy at Bale’s claims that England are arrogantJamie Vardy will be desperate to get on the field against the Dragons
But ahead of Thursday’s Group B showdown with the Dragons, Three Lions boss Hodgson said: “Receiving disrespectful comments is part and parcel of being a footballer and a coach. It’s a tight dressing room. It’s a passionate dressing room.
“And I would recommend anybody who does have any doubts about players in that respect to just watch the game and then come to me afterwards and tell me where they have seen that lack of passion and that lack of patriotism, because I certainly didn’t see it.
