GERMANY physio Klaus Eder might have split loyalties if his side reach the Euro 2016 final and face Portugal – after he was caught on camera wearing Cristiano Ronaldo boxer shorts.
The 62-year-old was bending down on the grass treating Bastian Schweinsteiger during the penalty shoot-out victory against Italy when the unmistakable CR7 underwear came into view.

That is the brand associated with the Real Madrid and Portugal star, with shirts, T-shirts, footwear, and obviously boxer shorts sold worldwide.
It seems the German physio is a fan. And should both teams reach the final it could be more Ronaldo versus his boxer shorts rather than Portugal versus Germany.
But obviously there are some hurdles to leap first.
Portugal must overcome the bandwagon that is Wales, who have surprised many be making the latter stages of the tournament.

They are on a high after dumping FIFA world ranked second Belgium out in the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile Germany, many people’s favourites for the Euros, have failed to hit top form, and sneaked through a shoot-out victory against Italy in their quarter-final.
They meet host nation France in their semi-final clash, who ended Iceland’s fairytale in the quarters with a 5-2 thumping.
And it’s unlikely Eder will be needed to treat Schweinsteiger on the pitch in this one. The Manchester United midfielder is all-but ruled out of the tie after sustaining knee ligament damage against Italy.
