Edinson Cavani given mini Cavani after breaking PSG goals record

EDINSON CAVANI received a commemorative gift on becoming Paris Saint-Germain’s record scorer…a scaled down model of himself!

The Uruguayan took his PSG tally to 157 goals with an early strike in the 4-0 Ligue 1 win over Montpellier.

PSG did hold a ceremony in front of the club’s fans to celebrate Cavani’s achievement.

At least Cavani himself seemed reasonably happy with it.

So that’s the main thing. It’s the thought that counts.

It was a funny old day all round.

Cavani received a handshake from referee Frank Schneider after breaking the record.

Then he was shown a yellow card for removing his shirt during his celebrations!
