ENGLAND smashed their ten-year Springboks curse then got a rocket from boss Eddie Jones, who rapped: “We are nowhere near good enough.”
Jones made it ten wins in a row with a four-try romp sparked by Ben Youngs’ second-half heroics.

But the Aussie is demanding even more against Fiji next week. He said: “We have got to get better. We are nowhere near good enough at the moment.
“We are pleased with the result having not beaten South Africa for so long. But we are certainly not satisfied with our performance.

“There are areas of our game that really need tidying up.”
Jonny May, Courtney Lawes, George Ford and Owen Farrell shared out the tries — the last two set up by scrum-half Youngs.
Jones added: “Some of our attack was good today and some was very poor.
“Defensively we gave away a soft try at the end.
“Overall we got a pass mark — we are starting to get there.

“We didn’t have ten of the squad that went to Australia and we knew the first ten minutes was going to be the most difficult against South Africa.
“We knew they would come out hard, be physical, be at us — and they certainly didn’t disappoint in that regard.”
Jones is just the THIRD boss to win all ten of his first ten Tests.
He added: “My job is to make myself redundant. When I am redundant, the team is going to be functioning well.

“It was good leadership again by Dylan Hartley, Owen, Billy Vunipola — they pulled everyone into line and made sure everyone knew what they wanted to do.
“Now against Fiji we are looking at opportunities for how we can improve the team in the short term and potentially the long term.”
