EDDIE JONES was in full gunslinger mode as he challenged his England stars to find another 25 per cent before the 2019 World Cup.
The Aussie boss, who also joked that working with the British press was like being in a Western, reckons his invincible side are only running at three-quarters capacity after 13 wins in his record-breaking year in charge.

Now Jones wants his Red Rose heroes to defend their Six Nations Grand Slam in style and take their game to a next level, starting against France at Twickenham on February 4.

Jones said: “We are playing at about 75 per cent and if we improve at eight per cent a year we should be okay at the 2019 World Cup.”
Speaking after picking up the prestigious Pat Marshall Award at the annual Rugby Union Writers’ Dinner in London, the 56-year-old also had a laugh about his relationship with the media.

He said: “It’s like a Wild Western movie. In those movies the guy walks into a bar and they are there all loaded up with their guns ready to go.”
GLOUCESTER’S signing spree continued with the capture of front-row Val Rapava Ruskin, 24, from rivals Worcester Warriors.
Ruskin said: “It’s a huge honour and opportunity.”
