DIEGO COSTA embraced Spain’s cold snap by venturing out into the snow with his pet dog.
The Atletico Madrid striker must have thought he had left frosty climes behind following his acrimonious departure from Chelsea.
But the capital has been covered in snow – not that that stopped some of La Liga’s biggest stars from stepping out into it.
Costa, not exactly dressed for the weather in a grey tracksuit, posted two photos to his Instagram with his dog.
They showed him in what appeared to be his garden, which was covered completely white from the downfall.
Real Madrid’s training was cancelled due to the blizzard.

Real warned their players to avoid the travel chaos.
Interestingly, the club’s training complex has no indoor pitches so that was not an option in the extreme weather.
And the disruption should not affect them too badly.
