The on-loan Stoke striker made no mistake in blasting the ball into the roof of the net from close range.
But just one minute into the second half, Luis Suarez emphatically struck the equaliser low into the goal after a Denis Suarez cross was only partially cleared.
After their equaliser Barcelona still failed to exert any control over the game.

In the 73rd minute Deportivo fired a warning shot as a header from a corner was pushed onto the post by Ter Stegen.
But the warning wasn’t heeded as centre-back Alex Bergantinos headed into the bottom corner from the resulting set piece.
Lionel Messi suffered a difficult afternoon, which was summed up when he blasted a 91st minute free kick over the bar from his favourite position on the edge of the box, leading the crowd at the Riazor to celebrate like their side had scored a goal.
The win could have been even more emphatic for Deportivo when Faycal Fajr went clean through on goal but fired his shot straight at Ter Stegen.
