ENGLAND have fired Under-16 coach Dan Micciche as part of a massive shake-up at junior level.

Micciche was widely credited with the development of England’s young star Dele Alli when he was technical director at MK Dons.

The youth coach has been fired as part of a massive shake-up by the FA

And he is now demanding a pay-off from the Football Association.

Alli has name-checked Micciche in numerous interviews for helping him develop his talent and keeping him on the straight and narrow during the early days of his career.

But that has not stopped the FA sacking Micciche after technical director Dan Ashworth dished out the instructions to axe him as part of yet another restructuring programme.

Ashworth, who was in Malta for England’s 4-0 World Cup qualifying win on Friday night, claims he has deviated from the FA’s DNA.

Micciche is demanding severance from the FA after he was unexpectedly called into an office at St. George’s Park to be told he had been fired.

Although Micciche has been told his dismissal is not linked to results, FA sources claim that he had different ideas to the FA on the way to develop young players.
