Sullivan said: “They are just trying to remove a heart flutter. It’s a small, three-hour operation.”
The diminutive Dave is even planning to be at the London Stadium for Thursday’s Europa Cup clash against Astra Giurgiu after the Hammers drew the first leg in Romania 1-1.
The game is due to be shown on BT Sport but DS will not be watching from his armchair if he has anything to do with it.
He told us: “I’ll be at the game on Thursday evening hopefully.”
