DAVID HAYE says only a FENCE will keep him and Tony Bellew apart next week.
The pair come face-to-face at a series of press conferences ahead of their heavyweight grudge match at the 02 Arena on Saturday week.

And Haye says that security guards alone will not be enough to ensure nothing kicks off before fight night.

Haye and Dereck Chisora famously needed a fence between them ahead of their clash in 2012 after they tussled at a press conference in Germany five months earlier.
The Londoner said: “There needs to be some protection between us and a human being is not protection enough.

“The fence worked for the Chisora fight. I’d love to have confidence that he will keep his hands to himself but I don’t have any confidence in him. I don’t have any confidence in his mental state.”
Haye clipped Bellew with a left hook when they faced off at the initial presser back in November.
And Scouser Bellew has revealed that he will have no problem striking the Hayemaker if he gets too close again.

Haye added: “Even if we did come close he is not quick enough to hit me.
“It getting called off this late would be an absolute nightmare. Imagine both of us being in great shape, both of us ready to fight then he pushes me and I react and then it is messy.”
Eddie Hearn, Bellew's promoter, said: “Make no mistake, there will be provisions to keep them well away from each other until fight night.”
