David Haye confirms Anthony Joshua WILL fight Wladimir Klitschko in the biggest bout of his career

DAVID HAYE has confirmed Anthony Joshua WILL face former champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed that the duo were close to getting a deal arranged for the highly-anticipated bout last week but there was still a strong risk that it wouldn’t happen.

However it now seems that they could be going head-to-head in December at the Manchester Area.

Haye wrote on Twitter saying: “Great to hear Joshua-Klitschko is done. Timing is everything & time now is perfect for AJ. Reminds me of Ali vs Berbick.”

And they may have two titles on the line including Tyson Fury’s WBA belt as well as Joshua’s IBF title.

The WBA are on the verge of stripping Fury of his belt after being tested positive for cocaine.

Fury had a rematch with Klitschko arranged for July 9 but was forced to scrap the fight due to an ankle injury.

The rearranged date on October 29 was also cancelled because the heavyweight champ was deemed "medically unfit."

If the fight between Joshua and Klitschko goes ahead, the Brit will head into the ring with an unbeaten record from 17 fights but this will be one of his biggest challenges yet.

And he has been hitting the gym hard in order to be ready.

In an intense gym ball workout, Joshua made sure his neck and stomach muscles felt the burn.
