DANNY WELBECK finds himself in the middle of a club versus country battle.
England boss Gareth Southgate names his squad on Thursday for the clashes with Scotland and France.

The Arsenal striker, 26, has not played for England in 14 months due to knee problems and was recently hit with a foot injury.
But he is expected to be available for Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea.
Southgate wants him in his squad, but Arsenal would prefer he is not used for either the World Cup qualifier in Glasgow on June 10 or the friendly in Paris three days later.
Asked about England, Welbeck said: “It’s for the medical teams to correspond with each other, then we’ll see.”
