According to the Guardian, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is unsure when the England international will be back after he aggravated the same problem which sidelined him for two months this campaign.
His career with Reds has been blighted by injuries since he made the switch from Chelsea in January 2013.
Since scoring 21 Premier League goals in the 2013/14 campaign where he forged a formidable partnership with Luis Suarez, his highest return in the top flight has been just eight strikes.
