DANIEL LEVY doubled his yearly wage to become the Premier League’s best-paid chairman on £6million- earning more than manager Mauricio Pochettino and star player Harry Kane.
The Spurs supremo hailed an “historic period for the club” as they announced record revenues of £306.3million for 2016-17.

The Mail report Levy‘s gross annual pay jumped from £3.2m to £115,000 per week – compared to England striker Kane‘s basic wage of £110k.
And Levy’s yearly figure of £6m is £0.5m more than highly-rated Pochettino.
Tottenham’s financial joy is partly due to qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in seven years.
Revenue was up nearly £100m from £209.8m the previous year.

Income soared from TV and merchandising, as well as sponsorship and corporate hospitality.
Levy said: “We are in an historic period for the Club and there is a growing sense of excitement.
