CRYSTAL PALACE are plotting a summer raid on West Ham for Michail Antonio.

Roy Hodgson has identified the versatile winger as a top target for the Eagles.

Antonio, 28, has made just 21 Premier League appearances this season.

And the former Nottingham Forest man could jump at the chance to join Palace following their impressive revival under Hodgson.

The Eagles looked destined for relegation when Frank de Boer lost his first four matches without scoring a single goal.

Hodgson then lost his first three games as the goal drought continued, but he has ended up inspiring Palace to a commendable 11th in the table.

The likes of Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend have shown that the Eagles have enough talent to push on next season.

And Antonio is seen by Hodgson as the missing piece in his jigsaw.

The midfielder is also capable of playing in defence and attack.

He signed a new four-year contract with West Ham last season while Slaven Bilic was still in charge, but it remains to be seen if he still has a future under David Moyes.
