Crystal Palace want Eder from Inter Milan and are in talks to sign Italy international this month for £10m

CRYSTAL PALACE are reportedly in talks to sign Inter Milan striker Eder.

Sky Sports claims Roy Hodgson has targeted the Italy international in a bid to bolster his front line.

Christian Benteke has scored just once in 18 appearances this season.

And Hodgson wants another forward to ensure Palace don’t return to the drop zone following a miraculous turnaround.

Eder could be available for just £10million this month as he bids to quit the San Siro.

The 31-year-old has failed to start a single Serie A game due to the imperious form of Mauro Icardi.

And chances will be even harder to come by if Inter pull off an audacious loan deal for Liverpool hit man Daniel Sturridge.

Eder has been with the Nerazzurri for two years, scoring 12 goals in 69 appearances.

However, he is not in the plans of boss Luciano Spalletti, who took charge last summer.

And with Palace offering regular playing time, a deal could be completed before the January window slams shut.
