Liverpool rejected Palace’s £23.5m bid for Christian BentekeAlan Pardew is keen to land at least two strikers this summer
Pardew is desperate to land a prolific front man after seeing his side hit the back of the net only 39 times last season - with top scorers Yohan Cabaye, Yannick Bolasie and Scott Dann mustering just five goals.
They opened their new Premier League account with a 1-0 home defeat to West Brom and no team has lost more games in 2016 than Palace.
Palace may face competition from Lyon for Remy's signature but it is believed the French side can't match the striker's £85,000-a-week wages.
