CRYSTAL PALACE are woeful when it comes to penalties.
Even at Selhurst Park, the Eagles couldn’t find the back of the net from the spot.

The game provided plenty of drama; an absolute sitter was missed by Andros Towsend, Gabriel Jesus left the field in tears and Kevin De Bruyne also left injured, he was stretchered off after his knee was put in a brace.
But the most dramatic moment came when Palace were awarded a penalty, after Wilfried Zaha was taken down in the box by Raheem Sterling.
Luka Milivojevic stepped up to take the penalty which he struck softly right in the centre of the goal and it was subsequently saved by Ederson’s feet.
Christian Benteke was forced to apologise to his team-mates earlier this month because of his penalty blunder, after he insisted on taking the shot, perhaps Milivojevic will have to do the same.

Townsend had the world at his feet, well.. the chance to score against league leaders Manchester City.
Instead, the winger sent the ball flying wayward and missed the goal by a country mile.
Jason Puncheon’s shot was blocked and the ball rolled to Wilfried Zaha, his cross found an unmarked Townsend in the box.
In the 76th minute, Townsend side-footed the ball with his left foot and sent it way over the bar.
SORRY LADS: Benteke apologises to team mates after penalty blunder costs Palace big win

The attack was Crystal Palace’s most threatening in the game and the crowd simultaneously groaned at the horrendous strike.
Crystal Palace fans reacted with hilarity on social media with some even calling for his week’s wages to be withheld for missing an absolute sitter.
