Crystal Palace make Diafra Sakho bid as West Ham star is lined up for £10m move

CRYSTAL PALACE have reportedly launched a £10million bid for West Ham star Diafra Sakho.

The Daily Mail claims Roy Hodgson wants to bring the striker to Selhurst Park this month.

Sakho is yet to start a Premier League game this season, instead making 14 appearances from the bench.

He is believed to be keen on a January exit and is also wanted by Everton.

The likes of Newcastle, Swansea and Cardiff have also expressed their interest in signing Sakho.

But the 28-year-old Senegal international could now be set for a cross-London switch after Palace made their move.

West Ham value Sakho at £15m, but may accept Palace’s £10m if it includes future bonuses.

The Eagles are in dire need of more firepower, especially after a series of injuries to some top stars including Andros Townsend and Jason Puncheon.

Palace have already been quoted £13m by Everton for Oumar Niasse.

And with Christian Benteke scoring just once this season, there could be more signings to follow at the capital club.
